Lella is a fiercely devoted wife, mother of five, and loving grandmother.

Each of her children holds an irreplaceable place in her heart, and her youngest son, affectionately known online as “Buster Brown,” is a joyful little boy with level 3 non-verbal autism and global developmental delay. Buster’s journey has become the heartbeat of her public voice and the driving force behind so much of what she creates and fights for every day.

Through her social media channels, Lella openly shares the raw, beautiful, exhausting reality of raising a child with severe autism.

She advocates for new research, emerging medications, the root causes of autism, proper funding, meaningful respite, targeted therapies, and lifelong services, because families like hers are running a marathon with no finish line.

Above all, she speaks for the children who will need 24/7 care long after their parents are gone, working tirelessly to build a safer, better-supported future for Buster and countless others.

By day she is an IT Project Manager in manufacturing, driving innovation and excellence. The same strategic mind that tackles complex technical challenges is already looking ahead to entrepreneurial ventures that will one day help secure the lifelong care and opportunities Buster and children like him deserve.

When she’s not advocating, writing, or supporting manufacturing teams, you’ll find Lella lost in a romance novel (still her favorite escape), writing romance and poetry laced with hard-won hope, or surrounded by her big, loud, beautiful family who inspire and ground her every single day.

Everything Lella creates, from games to stories to the advocacy she pours her heart into, is rooted in love… love for her husband, love for all five of her children, love for her family, and love for a severe-autism community that deserves to be seen, supported, and never left behind.
